For Nonprofit Leaders

You Are Not the Problem.

You started with a mission. Somewhere along the way, you became responsible for budgets, board reports, and financial decisions no one trained you for. We help you close the gap.

What Changes For You

Common Questions

Answers for nonprofit leaders considering the program

Do I need a finance background?

Not at all. This program is specifically designed for nonprofit leaders who manage finances but didn't train in finance. Executive directors, program directors, development directors, and operations leads are all a great fit.

How much time does it take?

About five hours per month over five months. Sessions are designed for busy leaders with full plates — we respect your time and make every hour count.

How do I access the program?

Master Your Nonprofit Numbers® is delivered via cohorts. If your foundation or nonprofit network has licensed the program, you may be able to join a funded program at no cost. If you want to start on your own, cohorts form all year — just add yourself to the waitlist to be notified when the next cohort opens.

What if I'm already working with an accountant?

Even better. This program isn't about replacing your finance team. It's about giving you the financial literacy and confidence to work alongside them as a true partner, ask better questions, and make more informed decisions.

Will this feel overwhelming?

No. That's the whole point. We teach in plain language, use real-world examples from the nonprofit sector, and create a space where no question is too basic. We've been described as a nonprofit finance whisperer — we take that seriously.

Ready to lead your numbers?

You started this work because you wanted to make things better, not because you wanted to spend your evenings worrying about cash flow. The program is built so you can stop carrying the financial weight in your head and start carrying it in systems, skills, and confidence.
